FOSSIL SHIELD 90.0 is a fine powder made out of fossil plankton. FOSSIL SHIELD 90.0 has a purely physical effect on insects, causing them to dehydrate. Insects and mites are immediately rendered harmless and die within a day of coming into contact with FOSSIL SHIELD 90.0.

How does FOSSIL SHIELD 90.0 work?
The bizarre structure of the plankton shells has great liquid absorption qualities, even for waxes and fats. In order to prevent themselves from drying out, insects form a waxed surface on their shelled exteriors. Should the insect become powdered with FOSSIL SHIELD 90.0, their protective wax surface is attacked and the insects dry out. Many crawling insects have a natural dislike of fossil plankton. In this way and after application into the insects’ hideout, FOSSIL SHIELD 90.0 provides natural and optimum long-term protection. A building of resistance to counter the physical effects of FOSSIL SHIELD 90.0 is not likely.

The application equipment For the best results it is important that FOSSIL SHIELD 90.0 powder is applied to the places inhabited by the red chicken mites. This is best achieved by using FS Equip Electro. Using this powder-coating system, it is possible to create a very fine and static FOSSIL SHIELD 90.0 powder, providing a fine and even all-round coating to cages, laying nests, slats and walls.

For individual protection wear protective equipment as a dusk mask with particle filter P1 in the event of applying the FOSSIL SHIELD 90.0.
